Unrelated post - help needed |
I come in peace. Please forgive me clementinescaboose for interrupting your thread .... My only way into the forum at the moment (see below) was by "replying" to one the "recent posts" table on the IA home page. So I chose one of yours - didn't want to wake up any trolls.
Help needed!
I've lost access to all the forums on my PC. The LMA page loads fine, and the GD collection opens fine, but below the "this just in" table there's no forum, just this message:
Fatal error: Call to private method Cache::cacheDataStructure() from context '' in /usr/local/petabox/www/common/Cache.inc on line 157
Does anyone recognize this message? I don't know about cache issues, nor the Petabox. Could this be a cookie problem? I run Vista and IE9, and the PC works fine oterwise.
If anyone can help I expect I'll be alerted to a response by email and will be able to link to the reply. Thanks in anticipation!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I'm beginning to be paranoid about my computer's hateful behaviour. Am so relieved when it turns out to be someone else's problem. Was not at all looking forward to seeking help from the tekky forums elsewhere.
Those anxious about my cries for help on the LMA forum will be relieved to hear that "the player" works again. Could have been something to do with ditching all my temporary internet files. Go figure.
